Dreams For Kids - a program to enhance the social and
cultural lives of children in the care of Child Protective Services.
Annually we administrate the Dreams For Kids “Adopt A Child Program”
at Christmas time, providing over 120 children with gifts and holiday joy
~ adoptions begin mid November of each year.
Children in the Child Protective Services program, by no fault of their
own, are often found during the Holidays in temporary homes or foster
care. This is an opportunity to be their Santa and have the opportunity to
bring smiles to many little faces.
You will be assigned your “adopted” child, given their age and any
special requests that they might have. You will be asked to spend between
$35.00 and $40.00 per child that you adopt. Wrap the gift or not, it’s
up to you (we have elves to help wrap)! The greatest part, on Christmas
morning when you rise and shine, you will know that somewhere in the
Morongo Basin there is a young person with bright little eyes opening your
gift!
