| Reflecting on our Foundation's accomplishments, I
am filled with gratitude to the Board of Directors, members, and
volunteers who have worked so hard to make these achievements possible. It is a pleasure to be able to share that your foundation continually exceeds the goals that it sets for itself every year. Our Foundation is financially sound, has expanded the support services provided to charities and support groups throughout the entire Basin, taken on new projects, served on lots of committees throughout the Basin and expanded several existing programs. Our monthly breakfast at the Helen Gray Educational Center on the first Thursday of each month has consistently grown. I thank you all for your attendance and the guests you continually bring to introduce them to your Foundation so that they are able to learn what we are about. Our monthly activities at the breakfast, be it a guest speaker, Community Service Award of Excellence presentation or our occasional Community Forum on a specific topic, are enjoyed by all who attend. The most rewarding part of these breakfasts, which often can approach 100 people each month, is to observe the communication that takes place among all the attendees from across the Basin. Problems faced by communities and groups are discussed and often assistance and direction toward solutions are exchanged. It's wonderful to observe such positive community growth and camaraderie. We encourage you to call our Executive Director, Kelly Carson at 760-365-7219 and give her the name of a friend or associate to whom you'd like her to mail a membership pack.
